DUSTY STRINGS NEW FH34S LEVER HARP

After months of testing, design analysis and prototypes Dusty Strings' newest harp model, the FH34S, has arrived on the scene with elated reviews. HARP IN LA received an FH34S model this month and we have to say, this is a very nice harp.

First, this harp is very light. It is the lightest of all the Dusty Strings 34 string harps. It is so easy to transport! The string tension as well is lighter giving the harp a distinct, warm, well-balanced tone and clarity of bass. The staved soundbox has a beautiful lute-like shape to it, narrow at the top of the soundbox and comfortably rounded overall, making the FH34S easy to reach from top to bass.

Compared to its sister FH34 model, the FH34S is notably different. The FH34 weighs more, has a larger soundbox and higher tension strings compared to the FH34S which contributes the FH34's beautiful and resonant sound. The FH34S sits higher than the FH34, and with its light-weight soundbox and string tension the sound can be described as warm, almost ambient, with an even, clear tone throughout.

The FH34S is available in sapele, walnut, maple, figured cherry and bubinga. The sturdy CD34 red deluxe case, a removable stand with legs and custom tuning key are included. Full Loveland levers are also included, though Camac levers can be installed for a nominal fee.
